These are fantastic skates. My 7 year old daughter recently started taking skating lessons. I bought us both Chicago skates to start. While the Chicago boot was exceedingly comfortable, and the skates are relatively light, the bearing and wheels were awful. They literally sent vibrations through our feet, even with thick socks on. Also, my daughter just couldn't seem to get the scissors her instructor wanted her to learn.Enter Epic pair 1, the Cheerleader skates for my daughter. We loosened the nut on the wheel slightly and BOOM, she was doing her scissors. She doesn't mind the slightly heavier boot and likes the wheels. Not kidding, her skating improved overnight.I am a large lady, 5'10 and 200+ lbs. While I wear a ladies 11, some 11 shoes don't fit me. I started with a black Epic Classic in men's 11/ladies 12. Even tightly laced with thick socks, the skates were too big. I ordered my correct size, this pink skate in ladies 11. They fit perfectly. The skates handle marvelously well. It's fun to play with foot pressure while gliding to see what they can do. The slightly heavy boot and softer wheel was great to start on. I had the much needed grip and stability to help my daughter around the rink. I've improved quite a bit and will now be using these wheels outdoors and a harder one inside.I really like Epic Classic skates. I've already ordered a second pair for myself in red just for kicks. Not gonna lie, they're a bit heavy. (My husband went with the Sure Grip Rock Gt50.) But they're great skates. The seller was fabulous too.
